Is this what it is like to be “addicted?”

So I get up and I cannot wait to get my hands on that pink yarn and start knitting some more. I am liking the feel of this yarn in particular. It flows nicely over the needles. I just could not wait to get my hands on it! I haven’t felt this way about knitting since I started knitting.

I sat down in the recliner and tell myself, “I’ll knit a couple of rows” and then I’ll get up and do the morning computer routine before I have to run out the door to:
(1) take the cello to the Fishburn Violin Shop to see if they can get it tuned and
(2) run down to the church to do the dreaded “visiting teaching” interviews and maybe help them tie quilts for the NAM Quilting Bee.

Well I might help them tie quilts if I don’t have to drive the cello all the way across town to Lisle Violin Shop to get strings replaced. I am even considering taking my sewing machine down to the church with me. Of course that is all dependent on if I have to drive across town to the other violin shop. One question in Fishburn’s is going to be about rentals. I will consider swapping Andrew’s rental to a much closer location even with loss of all the “credit towards a purchase” if it means that I don’t have to drive 35-40 minutes to get to the shop to get simple things done like strings replaced or tuning when Andrew can’t do it himself.

Just a couple of rows. Yeah right! Just a couple of rows became 5-6 rows. Even then I had to force myself to put it down. It is pink, this is unnatural that I’d have to force myself to put it down. It is just working up so nicely.
