At 7:30 this morning, I was checking the temperatures for Kyle. It was time to send him out the door to the school bus. The weather widget said it was 52˚F. Not so bad considering we were below freezing a couple of nights ago, though not so bad yesterday. Well that same weather widget at 7:45am read 51˚F! Now at 7:48am it is reading 50˚F! YIKES!
Why do I say yikes? Because the weatherman said that the temperatures would be falling very quickly today as the Arctic Blast moves through town around the 9 o’clock hour. By about noon today, our temperatures should be around freezing. Brrrr!
Tomorrow, we’re not supposed to break above freezing. Yikes!
I don’t have mittens. I don’t have a winter hat. I don’t think my coat will even be warm enough for this nonsense. I might have to head out to get some in a little while because this is just crazy cold for this area. Got to love unpredictable weather!
