So I was not planning on riding bikes today because it is trash day and it is shortly after Christmas. This usually means that the curbs are littered with discarded Christmas trees. I saw a few on Friday when I was driving through the neighborhood so I did not drive yesterday either.
Today’s weather, however, reaffirmed that today’s decision to not ride bikes to school was a wise one if made for self preservation reasons. Now I am not afraid of most weather conditions when it comes to the bike but there are some that are just pointless to me.
Heavy rain is one of them.
