I love that my children love playing music.
I love that my children love their stringed instruments. It sometimes makes life a little interesting, but we would not want life to be boring now would we?
After all the excitement with Kyle and his viola, Bob III, last weekend, I am not entirely sure I was prepared for what Andrew was about to present me with.
Andrew was talking to me from upstairs, “Don’t worry if you hear something that sounds like a violin coming from my room. It is just me.”
I am pretty sure that he read my “are you kidding me” look loud and clear because his explanation quickly followed, “Micheal gave me his old violin.” Again, he received the “what are you talking about” look.
He disappears for a few very brief minutes. It was not long. He comes down the stairs and appears in the living room with a violin. I then hear a more in depth explanation, “Micheal’s scholarship paid for a new violin so he offered to let me borrow his old violin. He offered to sell it to me but I told him not quite yet because I wanted to try it first.”
Alright. What am I supposed to say to that?
I am just standing there looking at this…
