They called again

The Art Institute called again this afternoon. I was standing in the middle of The Container Store. I had to be quite frank with them. I can’t afford to go to the Art Institute. It just costs way to much. Unless they start talking about how much money they’ll give me to go there, it isn’t an option for me. It doesn’t matter how much I think it would be fun to go there. It doesn’t matter how much I think I’d enjoy doing the program. It doesn’t even matter how much more I think I “might” learn through their program over the local community college. The price is just too high. The said they weren’t offering registration fee wavers at this time but they’d make notes and call me back when they did. That’s $50 to find out I still can’t afford to go. Pretty high stakes if you ask me.
