Capstone Practicum Project – Application Tracking

Capstone Practicum Project | BYU-Idaho | REL 333 Teachings of the Living Prophets

If you’ve noticed an uptick in blog posts recently, please note that there is reason. Multiple reasons. Primarily, it is to help me complete the Capstone Practicum Project for my religion course at BYU-Idaho as previously explained.

  1. I want to get back into the habit of blogging (for journalling purposes).
  2. I need to track the application of my Capstone Practicum Project.

After the Olympics in my head, I have decided I can kill 2 birds with one stone on this project and a personal goal.

I am using the tracking for the Capstone Practicum Project application phase to rebuild a habit. This should help me make the blogging goal a reality – again.

And look at that…

An application route! I spelled it out clearly after struggling with the direction for 2 weeks now. In my efforts to track the learning process over the next few weeks, I will be working toward something larger.

Bite-sized progress!

See the first tracking post and admission of my struggles.

So be patient with me while you endure the “different approach” for a few weeks. This is going to lead to something bigger. I can feel it. It is my understanding that this is the ultimate purpose of the capstone practicum projects, practical application of what we’re learning.

I am not sure what form this will take yet. Still working on the details derived from this ah-ha moment but I know it can help me reach other goals if I get started and then adapt as I go through the process to better fit the longer-term goals not a part of the capstone practicum project.

That is the best explanation I have of why the sudden increase of blog posts here – right now.
