I had all these great plans to continue this blog thing as a form of journaling for my children to look back at one day long in the future. Great plans. However, “life happens” is probably one of the truest statements known to all mankind. When it does happen, we just have to roll with it.
What is “it”?
That is whatever life throws at you.
I am a firm believer that we are here on Earth as a form of testing ground. Yes, I believe in a higher power. I believe in God. I believe that I am a daughter of heavenly parents, God being my Heavenly Father.
I know and understand that there is a divine plan for each one of us. We may not fully understand what the plan is with exactness, but we do know that it is called “life.”
Each one of us has a different plan. We might share similar features or details, but the overall plan is unique to us. Some of this because of the presence of the hand of God in our creation. Some of it is because of the greatest gift that we probably possess – agency. We have “choice.” Even God, himself, values this agency or choice to act.
Why is this a big deal?
It is a big deal because sometimes our “it” may change based on the agency of others. Or maybe it isn’t the “it” that changes but rather the circumstances that surround it making it seem or appear as if the “it” has changed.
The plan for our lives here on Earth is fluid. Kind of like this whole back-to-school thing with COVID-19 – fluid. We have to go with the changes as the occur because sometimes we have zero ability to change the changes or alter the circumstances. Our ability to adapt is what keeps us sane. It is what keeps us mentally and emotionally healthy.
