I woke up this morning feeling better about dropping Andrew off at the MTC. I will be honest, that was hard. This morning, however, I am better. Time eases that deep knowledge that I have that I am going to miss him and for how long.
Tomorrow I will see my other boys and we can plan for what we will send in his first care package. Oh and they are going to want their goodies from Utah. I did not buy much, but I did get them a little something.
This morning I woke up to this…
Yes, it was a light snowfall. A light dusting.
And then the fog descended on the city.
Georgann drove down from Park City and said the fog was very bad at the highway – very limited visibility. I do not enjoy driving in the fog. It doesn’t scare me, but it isn’t my favorite thing to do. To add snowfall to it…things were starting to get interesting looking. At least I still had time.
Well the weather continues…
It might have warmed up a degree, but the light snow falling has stuck around and the fog has not lifted.
It is a widespread snowfall across the Salt Lake City area. It looks like I will get to drive in it this afternoon as I head to the airport.
I just received a text message and it looks like at least one of my flights is delayed a half hour. The fun is beginning already.
Fun travel day!
