I just got a text from one of the instructors at the karate dojo. We are not going to be there tonight because Lance has an orchestra concert tonight instead. Normally, Monday is karate night. They want to schedule his black belt test. Gulp. My baby is almost ready to take his black belt test. We have arrived at that point. Reality is hitting that my babies are not so little anymore.
The good news is that I know he is mostly ready for this test. He’s been working hard to get ready. He’s trying hard to be as ready as possible for the test. So in a couple of weeks that little boy could be Lance the black belt.
I will update as we find out more details. For now I need to go listen to the training samurai show his current mastery of the cello…
