A warning

When you get into the car, you get used to it just working. This morning when I got into the car after stopping to pump gas at 5:30AM something was different.

After I pumped gas this morning, I went to start my car and I saw this warning on my dash. This was a friendly warning from my car letting me know that it was going to soon have problems if I did not take action soon enough.

This is the warning light on my Nissan Quest minivan telling me that the battery in my key-fob is getting low. Fortunately, it gives you a warning.

Of course, because I have read the manual, I know that I can put the key-fob right next to the start button and it should “in theory” start the car. There is also an actual key in the back of the key-fob for me to open the driver’s side door with if necessary.

That being said, however, I would like to not test the “in theory” portion of this information. I will be replacing the battery on fairly short order.
