Paying to do what?

I took the boys to the doctor’s office. This will be one of the last visits to the office where it is located now. I had all of the boys with me. Kyle needed to have warts frozen off and Andrew needed to have his asthma medicine changed because it was giving him migraines. I took them all with me because I could not leave Lance at home alone.

Kyle could not see the room without making a joke about it. “So are you paying for me to lay on the bed this time?” He then proceeds to get up on the bed and lay down.
Kyle. Kyle. Kyle. Yes, I am paying for “you” to lay on the bed. Well, not exactly lay on the bed as that would be the wrong procedure for today’s trip, but…
I think Andrew was just trying to ignore the fact that his brother was taking advantage of the situation.

Lance was jealous that Kyle was stretched out and laying on the bed. He wanted to lay on the bed. Let the arguing begin. Fortunately, the spinning stool quickly distracted Lance.

Believe it or not, Kyle used to fit on that bed. They used to measure him by stretching him out on the paper and drawing a line above his head and below his feet. He does not fit any more. This is a longer bed than they had back then. They still had the standard exam tables/chairs things with the stirrups. They used to measure Lance the same way.

It is hard to believe that these boys have been seeing the same awesome doctors for as long as they have. They have literally seen these boys grow up.
