I stopped for a late lunch on the way home today. I had been out running a few errands and I neglected the fact that it was well past lunch time. I was happy to see that the line at Chick-fil-a was not too bad in spite of the rain.
As I was sitting one car back in one of the double lines, I noticed that they now package their lemonade in one gallon containers. “That is nice.” I thought.
I like their lemonade.
Then I noticed the price for a one gallon jug of lemonade – $9.50 (and 9/10 of a cent)?!. Really? My next thought was “I am glad that I am not putting that in my gas tank!” Then I realized that the sign was shaped like a gas pump. Nice one, Chick-fil-a.
I will buy my lemonade by the cup and get free refills, thank you very much.
