A few more minutes of fame?

I was so excited a while back when one of my clients, JJ Smith, with WinnerViews.net told me that there was going to be an interview session with him on TV. I thought that was fabulous. I was so excited for him. It just goes to show that if you are great at what you do, it does pay back.

What I did not know at the time, was that something I did would be featured so prominently in that interview. I had not seen it in person and to see it for the first time on the TV was a shock. I stayed up late to watch it just to see JJ simply because JJ took the time to mention and I wanted to see what they were interviewing him for. It was to my surprise…

There was JJ Smith being interviewed in his new office where ABC 13 News managed to capture a couple of prominent shots of the logo I designed for him. He had it blown up and put on acrylic for the wall in his office. I had not seen that yet. I just knew that he had it done. All I can say is, “WOW!” There it was, my work – lights, camera, action – big time!

I was thrilled for JJ, but it was also my few seconds of fame right there. I might not of had my name mentioned, but I got a few seconds of camera time – silently – behind him. Thanks, JJ!

Fast forward to yesterday. JJ Smith posted on Facebook this picture of him with a couple of his clients. That is not important to me  so much as what is behind them in the picture…

There was a clear and full on shot of that acrylic logo on the wall above his head. I was floored! I could not help but smile. Thank you, JJ Smith, for the shining moments! Just let me say, “I did that!” There is a slight modification from the one that is on his website. The one that is on his website has a fleur de lis on it. It was a simple drop from the original for this purpose. It works without it. I still “did that!”
