In honor of your awesomeness!

This morning was the Awards Ceremony at Ulrich Intermediate School for the eight graders. This was supposed to be a get “a little dressier” affair and your parents show up and “let’s make a big deal” out of this thing. There was no mention as to what Andrew was getting in the invitation to show up, simply that I should show up. Essentially they were going to tell us how awesome they thought Andrew was. Little did we know…

Oh to be a fly on the wall at that moment in time. I truly wish I could know exactly what she was telling him right then. I am sure it was all about how amazing he is. He really is. I am not saying that just because I have to because I am his mother, he really just is that amazing.

Andrew, may you always be so AWESOME! While you are awesome, may you always know it but may you always remain humble about it. “Be thou humble; and the Lord thy God shall lead thee by the hand, and give thee answers to thy prayers” (D&C 112:10).
